A MIDNIGHT swim turned sour for a horse last night after it got stuck in the pool.
Crews from Dunmow, Woodham Ferrers, Baddow and an animal rescue unit were called to Broxted Road in Great Easton at 12.05am on October 24 with reports that a horse could not get out of the shallow end of a swimming pool.
It took crews two hours to rescue the horse, which was left in the care of the vet.
