How South Cambridgeshire voted in EU referendum

Residents in South Cambridgeshire have voted in favour to remain in the European Union.

In the referendum yesterday (Thursday), voters were 60.19 per cent in favour of remain and 39.74 per cent voted to leave.

The number of votes cast for remain were 56,128 and the number for leave were 37,061. There were 61 rejected ballots.

The turnout was 81.22 per cent.

Votes go towards the national total and the result is due later this morning (Friday).
