The total amount of money raised from this year’s Hempstead Classic Vehicle Gathering is in.
After weeks of counting, organisers revealed some £859.53 was raised for district nurses in Saffron Walden, as well as another £400 for Radwinter Cubs.
A spokesman said: “We had visitors from near and far for the event. We would like to thank the classic vehicle owners and visitors who continue to help make this event bigger and better each year.
“A special thank you to everyone that helped including Danny Yehezkel, Julie Pledger, Rory Wilson and Radwinter Cubs for providing the BBQ, and Doreen, Pat, Melissa and Maisie with help on the tea and cake tent.”
Organisers would also like to thank The Saffron Ice Cream Company.
The gathering, which is now in its ninth year, saw dozens of classic cars including an Aston Martin, AC Cobra, Mustang and Jaguar E-types at the show earlier this summer.
There were also two Bedford 1950s coaches, a DeLoren DMC-12 and even a MK1 Daimler Ferret armoured scout car.
