Imperial War Museum Duxford is now open to visitors, with the exception of the AirSpace exhibition and the Visitor Centre.

Structural damage was caused to the roof of AirSpace following high winds on Friday night.

But a spokesman for IWM Duxford said: “The damage has been assessed this morning and we are fully aware of the roof’s condition.

“We are now working with the original building contractor to determine the necessary next steps to repair and make good the damage.

“As we are not able to offer visitors the full IWM Duxford experience, we have reduced our admission prices to £12 for adults and £10 for seniors. Admission for children aged 15 and under is free.

“Our half term family activities will be available from Tuesday, February 18.”
