A roadshow in aid of Domestic Abuse Awareness Week is coming to Saffon Walden next week (Tuesday, November 29).

People can get information, advice and support from the district council trailer, which will be in King Street from 10am to 4pm.

Representatives from a charity, Safer Places, can also answer questions about the J9 Domestic Abuse Initiative – a movement to raise awareness of domestic abuse and to support victims.

There will be advice on council housing services, and from a wide range of Uttlesford District Council’s partner agencies.

A timetable for the 2017 roadshow – from March to October next year – can be found at www.uttlesford.gov.uk/mait, or email housingadmin@uttlesford.gov.uk for more details.
