A SERIES of mammoth events for families will be taking place at Saffron Walden Museum this half term which are guaranteed to make ewe smile.
On Tuesday (October 27), families can take part in The Big Draw and help to create a woolly mammoth using various arts and crafts materials.
And on Wednesday and Thursday there will be workshops inspired by the museum's Henry Moore: Sheep exhibition currently on display.
Fuzzy, Fluffy Sheep not only gives children an opportunity to get stuck in with sheep-related craft activities, but also to witness demonstrations of wool-spinning and weaving by members of the West Essex and East Herts Guild of Spinners and Weavers.
You may also want to watch:
The activities cost the same as a normal trip to the museum - 1.50 for adults, 75p for discounts and free for children.
All activities are drop-in so you do not have to book. Just pop into the museum between 11am and 1pm or 2pm and 4pm and get stuck in.
