Electronic magnifiers, scanners and computers to help people with poor vision will be displayed and demonstrated at the Support 4 Sight Resource Centre in Saffron Walden on Tuesday, September 15 from 10am to 2.30pm.
The charity, based in George Street, helped 4,000 callers to the centre last year, will be joined by Sight and Sound Technology, a national provider of devices to improve listening and seeing for people with impaired vision.
A range of the equipment will be available at Support 4 Sight for four weeks for people who cannot make it on the day. No appointment will be needed.
