Students at Linton Village College arrived at their Leavers’ Ball in glorious attire and curious contraptions.

The vehicles included vintage cars, fire engines, camper vans, tractors, stock cars, wheelbarrows, a home-made rickshaw and the bicycle made for two seen below right ridden by George Borakis and Clea Godsill.

On June 26 it was a happy celebration of the end of their exams and their five years at the school.

A large crowd of parents and other pupils gathered to watch the arrivals as boys and girls stepped out of their carriages and on to the red carpet in their sharp suits and glamorous dresses.

The entertainment included Linton Jazz Band, a magician, a casino, a mocktail bar and disco. Photographs by Duncan Keys.
