LOCAL Rainbows, Brownies and Guides braved the freezing cold weather and kept smiling while they raised funds for the Royal National Institute for the Blind.

They stood outside Tesco's, in Radwinter Road, and managed to collect just over £450 which will be divided between the RNIB and local Girlguiding.
