FOLLOWING a week of floods, high winds, sunshine, freezing temperatures and snow, youngsters from Fifth Saffron Walden Scouts took part in an action-packed programme of activities and workshops.
The winter weekend took place at Belchamps Scout Centre, Hawkwell, Essex, and attracted more than 20 scout groups from as far afield as Wiltshire.
The site was busy with youngsters taking part on the adventurous Jacobs Ladder, and included activities such as Leap of Faith, crate stacking, climbing, abseiling, archery, sports competitions and huge range of basic outdoor skills, such as campfire cooking, first aid and survival skills.
Youngsters could also choose to learn circus skills, performance and fun with inflatable's and a rodeo bull.
