A spokesman for the Trust said: “We have well-rehearsed major incident contingency plans which were reviewed last night in light of the current events.
“These plans will remain in place for tonight and the foreseeable future.
“We were not asked to assist London Ambulance Service last night but ambulance services nationally, including EEAST, are all part of a mutual aid network should assistance be required.”
