Long delays after crash on M11 near Saffron Walden

Emergency services are on the scene of a car crashed on the M11 this afternoon (Monday).

Paramedics were called to the southbound carriageway between Great Chesterford, junction 9, and Stansted Airport, junction 8, at 2.15pm.

An ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle were sent to treat a woman, thought to be in her 40s.

The incident is ongoing and is causing long delays in the area as the outside lanes on both the north and southbound carriageways are closed.
