The festive season is upon us and Saffron Walden Museum has lots to offer families.
On Saturday, December 7 visitors can join in the festive spirit by creating their own Christmas tree decorations, while also decorating the museum’s Christmas tree.
These are holiday craft activities suitable for the whole family. Just drop-in between 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm. Children must bring an adult. Usual entry charges apply: adults £1.50, concessions 75p, 18 and under free.
On the same day there will be a fund-raising book sale of new books from Books Express, held in the museum’s Schoolroom at the bottom of the museum drive, from 10am to 4pm. All books priced at £1 or less – great last minute Christmas presents available!
The museum’s festive opening hours are:
Dec 23: 10am-4.30pm
Dec 24: closed
