A man who was arrested at Stansted Airport on Friday will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, February 8), charged with offences under the Terrorism Act.
Finnish national Cubeyda Hassan Jama, 19, of London Road, Thornton Heath, was charged on Sunday, February 7, with “engaging in conduct in preparation for giving effect to intention to commit acts of terrorism”.
Detectives from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command (SO15) made the arrest at the Essex airport.
