A 42-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and assault following the stabbing of a man in Saffron Walden.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene in Gibson Close on the evening of Monday (October 10).
William Harrison, of Gibson Close, will be appearing before magistrates in Chelmsford on Thursday (October 13).
The victim, a man, was taken by ambulance to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge where his condition is critical but stable. He has been treated for a puncture wound to the chest.
