A MAN has been charged with murder in connection with an assault in Chelmsford in which the victim later died.
29-year-old Jamie Waters, from Andyk Road, Canvey Island was charged yesterday (August 20) and will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday) following the death of a 27 year old man who was assaulted in Duke Street, on August 19. The victim has not yet been formally identified.
A 28 year old man from Chelmsford has been released on bail on suspicion of affray and will return to answer bail in November.
