The 23-year-old man accused of murdering his mother and her partner in Stansted Mountfitchet in July denied the charges at Chelmsford Crown Court today (November 16).
Unemployed Brett Rogers pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder via video link from Chelmsford Prison.
Gillian Phillips, 54, and David Oakes, 60, were found dead at the house of Ms Phillips in Bentfield Gardens on 22 July.
Ms Phillips died from multiple stab wounds and Mr Oakes is believed to have died from head injuries.
Rogers was remanded in custody and will appear for trial at the Essex court on February 9.
