A driver has suffered life-changing injuries after colliding with a Great Notley roundabout on Saturday (Janurary 5).

A police investigation is ongoing after the single-vehicle collision near Tesco in Great Notley in the early morning.

It was reported that a grey Audi A3, which had been travelling from the direction of Chelmsford and towards Braintree, had been in collision with a roundabout and had overturned just after 4.05am on Saturday.

The driver, a man aged in his 30s, remains in hospital with life-changing injuries.

Essex Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, may have seen the Audi before the incident, or has relevant CCTV or dash cam footage available to view.
