A MAN was taken to hospital after falling from a wall and injuring his arm, back and leg on Friday morning.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were called to Ashdon Road, Saffron Walden, at around 11am.

A rapid response car, an ambulance and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the scene.

EEAST spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “A man who we believe to be in his 50s fell approximately 12 feet from an internal wall, injuring his arm, back and leg.”

“Following treatment and immobilisation by the land and air ambulance crews, he wa taken by land to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridgeshire for further care.”
