A man was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon (September 13) after his leg became trapped in a harvester machine in Ickleton.
Essex firefighters, an East of England Ambulance crew, a rapid response vehicle, a hazardous area response team, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended a man in his 30s at the incident in Abbey Street just before 12.30pm.
Firefighters freed the man, whose leg had been caught between two rollers, and he was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge suffering a suspected broken leg.
