Man interviewed by police after crash in Little Chesterford leaves woman injured

Police have voluntarily interviewed a 21-year-old man from Peterborough on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent and driving with no insurance after a crash in Little Chesterford on Saturday.

Officers received reports of a two-vehicle collision in Walden Road, Little Chesterford at around 2.20pm on Saturday, July 28.

A woman in her 60s was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with a suspected broken collarbone.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “An ambulance crew and RRV were dispatched and arrived at the scene of a road traffic collision on Walden Road, Little Chesterford just after 2:20pm.”

Police say the 21-year-old man is continuing to assist with enquiries.
