THE man accused of burning down Lloyds TSB bank in Saffron Walden town centre will face a judge and jury at Crown Court on May 28.

John Watson, 20, of Thaxted Road, offered no plea when he faced magistrates in Chelmsford on Friday. He was committed to Crown Court and will return to the town in May, where he will be tried on charges of arson, theft and possession of cannabis.
