Man trapped under car is freed

A MAN has been rescued from underneath a car following a crash this morning (Aug 17).
Crews from Saffron Walden and Newport were called to Bridge Street around 7.45am with reports that a man was trapped under a car.
Using specialist cutting equipment and air bags, the man was freed by 8.24am and left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
