Mayor collects the proceeds from Saffron Walden arts fair

SAFFRON Walden mayor Bob Eastham was pleased to receive a cheque from the Saffron Walden Arts Trust.

The £775 was the proceeds from the recent arts fair in the town hall.

The cheque will go to the Mayor’s chosen charities: Shake-a-Leg and The Carver Barracks Injured Soldiers Fund.

A spokesman for the Trust said: “we would like to thank all those artists and crafts people who took part in the event and made it such a success.”
