Saffron Walden Library is hosting a book signing event on Saturday with writer and historian Ian Yearsley.
The author of eight books about Essex history, Yearsley has recently published his first novel, an Essex-based supernatural witchcraft thriller entitled The Curse of Cannow’s End.
The story centres on a novelist who is looking for somewhere peaceful and inspirational to work and rents a house in the quiet south-east Essex village of Cannow’s End. Being a stranger there, he joins the local parochial church council to try to get more involved and meet local people.
What he does not bargain for, however, is a series of sinister events which appear to be focused on the church building...
Yearsley will be selling and signing his books from 10am until 2pm.
