MICHAEL JACKSON'S Thriller will be the theme at this year's Uncle Funk Christmas Party, set to hit Saffron Walden Town Hall on December 23.
This will be the fifth time the UK's legendary disco tribute band has staged one of their celebrated Christmas parties at the town hall - with every previous date selling-out well in advance.
Uncle Funk's guitarist, Flash Jackson, said: "We put a note about the gig on our Facebook page a few weeks ago and half the tickets on sale were snapped up as a result, so it's safe to say we're looking at another sell-out."
Famous for their huge afros, outrageous costumes and incredible live performances, Uncle Funk's Christmas Thriller will also see the band officially celebrate their 20th anniversary.

Lead singer, Simonella Funkenfurta, said, "Everyone in Saffron Walden knows this is the band's favourite gig of the year, so for us to be able to celebrate 20 years of Uncle Funk in front of our home crowd will be a very special moment.
"We're going to play like it's the last night on Earth - and the following day being Christmas Eve puts the icing on the festive cake, so bring plenty of mistletoe!"

With Thriller as the theme guests are encouraged to dress up as disco zombies, to set the dance floor alight!
Uncle Funk will be making a donation from this year's proceeds to The Teenage Cancer Trust.
