MODEL railway enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that an exhibition is being held in the town next month.

Saffron Walden Model Railway Club will be holding its annual show at the United Reformed Church in Abbey Lane on Saturday February 21, from 10am to 4.30pm.

The exhibition will feature eight working layouts, two trade stands including Walden Models, second hand sales and refreshments.

Club chairman, Julian Nettle, said: "We are delighted to be organising a larger exhibition this year, making use of both the URC Church Hall and Salvation Army Hall.

"With eight working railways there should be something to please everyone."

Entry costs are £2.50 for adults and £1 for children.
