SAFFRON Walden's budding film-makers have the chance to see their work on the big screen this autumn.
Saffron Screen is running a 90-second film competition, with the prize winners and other highly commended films being screened before feature films at the cinema.
A spokesman for Saffron Screen said: "We continue to look for innovative ways to promote local interest and involvement in films and film-making.
"This is an opportunity for anybody who has watched a film and thought 'I could do that' to have a go.
"They might come up with something funny, something dramatic, something very arty or just a highly original piece of film-making.
"We're looking forward to seeing some local stars on the big screen."
Rules for the competition and entry forms, together with further advice from the cinema's competition partner, Brainwave Media Ltd, can be found at www.saffronscreen.com. The deadline for entries is September 30, 2009.
