National title narrowly missed

A SAFFRON Walden funeral directors has narrowly missed out on a coveted national title.

H Peasgood & Son were up against over 1500 other independent firms in the UK going for the Independent Funeral Planner of the Year award.

Despite missing out, there was still cause for celebration as the firm as they won the title of Golden Golden Charter Regional Funeral Planner of the Year for the North London and East England area for their ‘dedication and commitment in providing an outstanding service to the community’

As regional winners the team were proud to be presented with a silver salver and framed certificate from Golden Charter.

On receiving the news of the award, David Peasgood said: “We aim for excellence in service and are delighted to have received this award in recognition of our achievements.”
