Paul Palmer and his partner Kirsty Sinclair opened their new shop, The Other One, on September 1 in The Cockpit, behind the Market Square.

Kirsty and Paul choose to stock a lot of their products from local artists and decided to set up an art gallery in the basement of the shop to feature some of their work.

The current exhibition will be on display until the end of December - Paul and Kirsty aim to change and update the exhibition every six weeks.

The art currently on display is from Heath Kane, Rugman and Andrew Millar. Heath Kane is from Saffron Walden and he curated the gallery.

Kirsty says there is only one other place in the country that has Rugman’s work and Millar only has one other gallery where his platinum work is displayed.

You can visit the shop and gallery on Monday from 12pm-4.30pm, Tuesday from 8am-7pm, Wednesday to Saturday from 9am-6pm and on Sunday from 11am-3pm.
