Saffron Walden County High School Farm Club has set a new date for its 50th anniversary celebrations.
Over 160 guests including past members and supporters were due to attend the celebratory event on Friday, February 7, but it was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions and floods.
However, the event will now go ahead on the new date of Friday, March 14.
Guest will have the opportunity to visit the farm during the evening, and there will be speeches and cake-cutting.
The County High is one of the few state schools that still has a school farm. Established in 1963, it keeps Dexter Cattle, Ryeland sheep, pygmy goats, Rhode Rock chickens, cockatiels, ferrets, rabbits and guinea pigs and has a horticultural area and greenhouses.
