A NEW service at St Mary’s Parish Church has been attended by over 80 people of all ages.

The first 4th@4 service was held on Sunday April 22 and will now be held on the fourth Sunday of each month at 4pm.

There were homemade cakes and biscuits, provided by the Mother’s Union, for those arriving before the service. During the service there were songs, a dramatised bible reading and an opportunity to chat to others and get to know them better.

The Rector, David Tomlinson, said “There was a lovely atmosphere from the refreshments and craft beforehand, and in our worship. Everyone seemed to enjoyed being together in God’s presence.”

The next 4th@4 service will be held on Sunday May 27 at 4pm and everyone is warmly invited to attend.
