Year 2 pupils at Newport Primary School display their Great Fire of London houses with teacher Rachel Salt

Pupils at Newport Primary School designed and made houses linked to their spring term topic The Great Fire of London last week, and made a flaming success of it.

The Year 2 children were given the task of creating a property to be displayed in the project and many chose to base their designs on houses from Saffron Walden.
