NHS West Essex is holding a second public discussion session in Saffron Walden to give people the chance to have their say on the future of health care in their area.

The meeting - at the Uttlesford District Council offices, London Road - is being held at 7.30pm on Thursday May 19 and follows a series of four public discussion meetings held across west Essex.

Chief executive Sheila Bremner has been asked to join the NHS Future Forum which is a group of representatives from the NHS, local authorities, voluntary sector and patients’ organisations that will oversee a national listening exercise on NHS reforms.

Ms Bremner will be attending the meeting to speak about the role of the forum and to listen to the views of those attending. She will then feedback to the forum and the Prime Minister.

Anyone who would like to attend the meeting should contact communications manager David Jackman by e-mailing david.jackman@westessexpct.nhs.uk or ringing 01992 566120.
