Paramedics rushed to Saffron Walden this afternoon (Monday) after a man was found unconscious.
The East of England Ambulance Service received a call at 1.50pm to Peal Road to help a man, believed to be in his 70s.
A spokesman said the service sent an ambulance and a community first responder to the scene as well as the Hazardous Area Response Team, who used a Polaris off-road vehicle to get to the man.
The patient, who was breathing, was taken Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, for further treatment.
