DRIVERS using the northbound M11 in Essex are advised that sections of the northbound carriageway will be closed overnight tonight (Thursday May 23).

Work, to resurface parts of the carriageway following recent accident damage, will take place overnight between 10pm and 5am.

Road users wishing to travel northbound on the M11 where it crosses the M25 will be diverted to travel anticlockwise on the M25 to junction 26 (Waltham Abbey) to double back along the M25 clockwise to junction 27 to rejoin the M11.

Between junction 6 (M25) and junction 7 (Harlow) of the northbound M11 there will be lane closures to allow work to be carried out safely.

Road users are advised to plan ahead, allow extra time for their journeys and follow the clearly signed diversion route.
