Parents put on alert in Linton after child approached by man

A child was approached by a man in Linton.

A child was approached by a man in Linton.


Parents are being warned after a man approached a child in Linton earlier this week.

Officers were called at 4pm on Tuesday (October 14) after a man with a bike tried to talk to the child.

The man is described as white, 25 to 30-years-old, and of average build. He was wearing a black hooded top with a pattern on it and also had a bike with him,

An officer spoke to the child’s mother, Linton Heights Primary School and Linton Village College, which has since notified other schools.
