A PEDESTRIAN suffered leg injuries after being knocked over by a car near Saffron Walden town centre.
The woman was hit by a blue Mitsubishi Colt while walking along Abbey Lane at about 2pm yesterday (Thursday).
A police spokesman said: “Officers are investigating the circumstance behind the incident and have spoken with the driver.
“Paramedics attended and treated the casualty for minor leg injuries.”
