US President Barack Obama says goodbye to the UK
US President Barack Obama boards Air Force One at Stansted Airport earlier today (Thursday) following his state visit to the UK.
The US President took off on his Boeing 757 at 9.20am bound for Normandy, France, where he will attend the G8 summit.
Mr Obama has been in London to firm-up relations between the UK and the US and, since his arrival on Monday night, has addressed Parliament, dined with the Queen and held meetings with political leaders David Cameron and Ed Miliband.
