Police appeal after cyclist suffers broken leg in collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which left a cyclist with a broken leg.

The collision, which happened on the A120 between Birchanger roundabout and the roundabout for Stansted Mountfitchet at about 4.30pm on September 6, involved a silver Volkswagen Golf and a cyclist.

The cyclist suffered a broken leg and heavy bruising. The car driver was unhurt.

A section of the road was closed for approximately three hours while the vehicle was recovered.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the incident to contact Pc Paul Marks on 101.
