Police appeal after Saffron Walden man dies in Duxford crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash last week after the driver of the vehicle involved died from his injuries.

John Pigg, 59, of Thaxted Road, Saffron Walden, was driving a Kia Rio Domino which left Grange Road, Duxford, and collided with a telegraph pole at 1.20pm on Tuesday (September 10).

Mr Pigg was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital but died on Friday.
