Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in Duxford yesterday.
The victim, a woman in her 50s, was in stationary traffic at Duxford roundabout at about 9am when a man approached her car and spat at her through her open window and punched her in the face, leaving her with minor injuries.
The man is described as white, 5’9”, of a stocky build with a tattoo on his right arm and blond hair. He was driving a small black car, possibly a Ford Fiesta.
Sgt Tom Rogers said: “The roundabout was very busy at the time and we are appealing for anyone that saw anything to contact us.”
