Police are seeking information over burglaries in Elsenham, Quendon and Strethall


Police are appealing for witnesses after jewellery and watches were stolen during a burglary in Stansted Road, Elsenham.

The victim, aged in her 80s, discovered a small white Timex pocket watch, a stainless steel Rotary ladies watch and a diamante necklace had been taken on Monday, January 9.

Suspects gained entry to the property between 2.30pm and 8.30pm by smashing a kitchen window.

Officers are also appealing for information after electrical devices and jewellery were stolen from a house in Quendon.

Police attended an address in Cambridge Road on Wednesday, January 18, after the victim, aged in his 60s, discovered a Canon digital SLR camera, a Samsung Galaxy tablet, a gold Fob watch and various pieces of jewellery missing.

Suspects entered the property between 8.30am and 5.30pm.

A burglary in Strethall took place on Wednesday, January 18.

Suspects entered the property between 4pm and 4.30pm before taking an Apple Mac computer, silver cutlery and silver kitchenware.
