Police are issuing a further appeal for witnesses, after a crash on the M11 near Quendon left a woman with serious injuries.

Police are issuing a further appeal for witnesses, after a crash on the M11 near Quendon left a woman with serious injuries.

The woman, in her 50s and from the Beccles area of Suffolk, was taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital and remains there in a serious condition.

The incident took place at about 9.20pm on Wednesday, October 15, when police believe a white Skoda lost control in the heavy rain and left the road to the nearside.

The crash occurred between Junctions 8 and 9 on the northbound carriageway, near Quendon.

The injured woman was a passenger in the car. The driver and another passenger, both men aged in their 20s, received slight injuries. They are also from the Beccles area in Suffolk.
