THREE incidents of criminal damage in Newport are being linked by police.

Vandals struck three separate cars in the village on October 7. An Audi A4 parked in Meadowford had its passenger door and windscreen damaged between 8pm and midnight, costing an estimated £250 to repair.

A Vauxhall Corsa in the same area had its windscreen smashed and its bonnet dented, between 10.30pm and 11.45pm. The damage was valued at £500.

A Volvo V70 parked at the junction of Meadowford and Wicken Road suffered £250 worth of damage when its windscreen and one of its rear windows were vandalised at about 10.20pm.
