Police have released an efit image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault in Saffron Walden.

The victim, a man in his 50s, was attacked by two men in The Spike at around 1.20am on February 15.

Police have only just released the information, and say he was struck over the head with what is believed to be a baseball bat or a large piece of wood and then kicked.

The man suffered injuries to his head and face.
