Essex police are urging van owners to remove high value tools from vehicles overnight after two further Ford Transits were targeted in Stansted.
The latest incidents bring the total number of no forced entry burglaries from the popular Ford vans to eight in and around Uttlesford over the last three weeks.
Essex police say that it appears that thieves could be using a master key to gain entry to the vehicles as no damage is caused.
The two newest break-ins occurred overnight on August 24, when tools were stolen from a Transit in Birchanger Lane, and thieves were disturbed trying to gain access to a Ford van in Stoneyfield Drive.
Any information regarding any of these incidents should be reported to police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
