Private jets and plane spotters turn up in their droves at airport ahead of London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony tonight

PRIVATE jets and plane spotters have been turning up in their droves at Stansted Airport today (Friday July 27).

A spokesman for operator BAA said it has been a “mega busy day for Stansted’s private aviation terminals” as hundreds of guests arrived from across the globe for tonight’s opening ceremony on a variety of private jets.

That brought in hordes of plane spotters who converged on the airport to see the assortment of private jets touchdown.
