A 100-year-old great-grandmother was serenaded by a choir of primary school children in celebration of her landmark birthday last Wednesday (March 7).
Annie Saunders, who lives at the Broome End care home in Stansted, was “absolutely thrilled” by the surprise appearance of schoolchildren from Bentfield Primary School as they arrived to give her a birthday sing-a-long.
The children were also impressed by Ms Saunders’ birthday card from the Queen.
