A REAL life action man visited Wimbish to address the Tang Ting Twinning Association (TTTA).
Lieutenant Colonel Simon Bell, commanding officer of the Bomb Disposal Regiment at Carver Barracks, told TTTA members, local residents and ex-Gurkhas about the transformation of Tang Ting, a village in Nepal.
He also discussed the risks his regiment undertake in active service overseas and in the UK.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards funding a medical team and the building of a new medical centre in Ting Tang.
To donate to TTTA or for more information call 01799 540881 or visit tangting.org
